Kenta Matsushige is a Japanese fashion designer with degrees from ESMOD in Osaka and the Ecole de la Chambre Syndicale de la Couture Pari- sienne, from which he graduated in 2011. Kenta cut his teeth working at Gian- franco Scotti, Anne Valérie Hash, Givenchy and at the Haute Couture studio of the fashion house Christian Dior. He imagines balanced creations equally inspired by nature (Japanese Hinabi concept) and city (Japanese Miyabi concept). His minimal, clean, architectural pieces reflects a masterful command of shape and an imaginary world full of poetic charm and finesse. Kenta has been awarded in 2014 with the Grand Prize of the Hyères Fashion and Photography Festival. He was also finalist of the ANDAM prize in 2016. He currently lives in Paris.
